The "councilcommunism" Yahoo mail site has become a prime example of the fetid and the banal, rife with advertisements posing as one-way communication (aka anti-dialogue, anti-discussion; pseudo-communication, that is, a "commune" based in exchange-value)about sustenance-falsifying (e.g., "food" network marketing) and connectivity-falsifying (e.g., "hottie" dating).
The reassertion of anti-human forms of relating has reimposed itself within the fog generated as "social networks", manufactured and owned by the very system that it pretends to offend. Particpation is impossible except as machinations of things... as pseudo-objects making "acceptable" systemic noise.
It is the simplest of tasks to moderate and to filter out spam, but those low-level "moderators" — who think that they are in charge of anything but herding — have no intent of allowing real discussion. This has been well-demonstrated on the councilcommunism Yahoo mail list, after they have ignored the simple steps, emailed to them and the group, along with complaints about their practiced slack and social disregard.
It has now become an exposition of an attempt to disregard and suppress the history of council-communism, not to be confused with the Leninist and other leftoids to resustitate the State as the "general council" above all the rest. That is a is a use-valuable history and supersessive discussion if we are to create economic democracy and non-authoritarian forms of social relations.
The "end" of the aforementioned (and many other) lists for any unmediated use-value has been achieved through the "means" of using idiots to further a well-crafted destruction of internet communication by utilizing lower-level agents of idiocy to act out their own programming as idiots, which is the one thing that they apparently can do well.... The end is directly-connected to the means, hierarchy, and to the "birth" on a privatized system of "social networks" which are top-down, anti-social, and are but resistance-mining tools manufactured by "the elite" for their NSA and other strongarm, surveillance, and subjugation experts.
The higher-ups, or, masters in favor of slaves, have used deaf moderators, intrusive inconvenience, faceless attacks, predators, trolls, and left+right mutually-falsifying misinformation to further derail any real communication via the once fee-free and publicly-owned internet. They are in charge and reliance upon anything on their terrain is oft-suicidal.
Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo, and Google lists are all forms of self-maintained prison-traps — some more evolved than others — whose privateering owners have further seized the public 'as their own' using those very people, themselves, as 'agents of the realm', as spies upon themselves. It's called outsourcing. Even the lame agents of befoulment, as here, get replaced by cost-saving forms in the end....
I recommend reinventing mutally-authenticizing and freely-associative 'social space' where social change, isocracy, mutual aid, and personal security are actually sought, because it isn't to be found in wishfully rolling around in falsified forms of "communication" and "connectivity", run by paid and unpaid perpetrators such as those here, whose sole emails to "the group" are based in selling soap or in apologizing for faked takeovers of their soap-selling moderator-"jobs".
Here, I use "soap" as a metaphor for its implicit staleness. The "reality"-image which it promotes has a direct connection from the form in which it is promoted to the real reality behind the curtain". That, in the open, is not so easily scented-away by promoting caring "survival" products and our desire to "love and be loved by" someone when the very survival and connectivity are merely lifestyle commodities, where further exchange of what might remain of your life is required for their once-again unsatisfying consumption. The false hopes of surviving just so you may sacrifice yourself again the next day, and to connect via fake commonness besides desperation to a fellow-whoring human being — and the system which creates the commodity form itself as a re-presentation of the life lost daily — is the unified idol to and open wound on an organizationally-atomized, imagination-scarcified and self-sacrificing humanity.
We, alone, will be our liberators. The "elite" will only act in their own — because owning) interest. We will tend to comply. That is the split personality and co-dependent "nature" of hierarchy and those maimed within its reified power over those who daily reproduce it. That is the essence of the slavery of all which hierarchy entails, and is.
