Anti-Nuclearism is Capitalist Anti-capitalism

The term "anti-nuclear" exudes a core ignorance and a contemptuous elitism. It is one glowing example of the ideology called "anti-humanism".

Suggesting a self-anointed superiority — calling for "solar" this, and "wind" that — is a prime example of the base cruelty paraded as "anti-nuclear".

The sun is a nuclear fusion reactor.

Fission is not fusion! Fusion is not fission! They are both "nuclear" energy, emerging from very different points of reference, and — consequently with, and with consequences for — very different powers wielding them.

The difference is classic; the difference is found in where one stands with respect to class society and its current top-down, centralist, and hierarchical rule by and through capitalist social relations.

[The four elemental forces of the universe are:]
  1. The strong interaction is very strong, but very short-ranged. It acts only over ranges of order 10-13 centimeters and is responsible for holding the nuclei of atoms together. It is basically attractive, but can be effectively repulsive in some circumstances.
  2. The electromagnetic force causes electric and magnetic effects such as the repulsion between like electrical charges or the interaction of bar magnets. It is long-ranged, but much weaker than the strong force. It can be attractive or repulsive, and acts only between pieces of matter carrying electrical charge.
  3. The weak force is responsible for radioactive decay and neutrino interactions. It has a very short range and, as its name indicates, it is very weak.
  4. The gravitational force is weak, but very long ranged. Furthermore, it is always attractive, and acts between any two pieces of matter in the Universe since mass is its source.

Both fission and fusion are "nuclear" and are forces of "strong interaction".

"Fission is the splitting of a large atom into two or more smaller ones. Fission reaction does not normally occur in nature. Fission produces many highly radioactive particles. The energy released by fission is a million times greater than that released in chemical reactions; but lower than the energy released by nuclear fusion. Takes little energy to split two atoms in a fission reaction.
...
Fusion is the fusing of two or more lighter atoms into a larger one. Fusion occurs in stars, such as the sun. Few radioactive particles are produced by fusion reaction, but if a fission "trigger" is used, radioactive particles will result from that. The energy released by fusion is three to four times greater than the energy released by fission. Extremely high energy is required to bring two or more protons close enough that nuclear forces overcome their electrostatic repulsion."

The "anti-nuclear" movement is a movement for the dismantling of public industry. It is highly-funded by capitalists who — acting as capitalist anti-capital when the rate of profit falls — cannibalize upon any technology or wealth which poses a threat to its cyclic build-and-destroy profiteering.

Public energy — as with public airwaves and health — has been privatized. that is, put into the control of private capital. "Public interest" does not exist and any who would impose anything in its name are liars and elitists. The only "interest" is based in their exchange-value. A certainty in capitalist society is that the money trail doesn't and cannot lie, because that measure of power — today almost entirely revolving around the manufacture and owning of debt — is prima facie. It suppresses all "human movement", substituting "social movement" with itself as re-presentor of that movement. Humanity as private property is the modus operandi of capital social relations. Always and only!.

There can be no solar, wind, tidal, fusion, oil, coal, or thermal emergy for humanity so long as there is not the required social relations based in a totalizing direct political democracy and full economic democracy. The state — the political form of capital — must be superseded. Hierarchy — the organizational form of separate[d] power — must be superseded. Capital — the socio-economic form of capital —must be superseded.

The anti-nuclear "movement" must be superseded as it falsely presents "safety" as a bait, luring one into the movement of capital for itself.

The "movement" collapses human potential by merely negating it rather than using it as a point of departure, as a stepping stone, as a moment to transcend the worlds of hierarchy, capital, and the psychopathocratic-affirming "movements" falsely presented as "choice".

Capital, as tool of hierarchical rule, impoverishes humanity in its ascendent and its descendent phases, yet offers a leap-off point at the apogee of ascendency, whilst celebrating its facadic glories, wherein all of its gadgets, devices, and scienco-technologies are but partially understood, working, and accessible. It spends more effort talking about its greatness than in creating any.

Until the movement beyond false choices is consequently implemented, and the partialities and false dichotomies as chief products of capital are seen as one unified meagerness that pretends itself as disconnected "movements" in opposition, then choosing amongst its falsehoods — presented by capital itself — will just cintribute to the evolution of capital's abilities to herd "public" miseries into its privatized slaughterhouses, for profit and power.

The "anti-nuclear movement" activists are dutiful socio-[radio]active sludge, performing like good "citizen"-slaves.
