It plays right into the fragmentation of our own daily lives, disconnecting what we choose to do from who and what presents that set of choices as our social reality, as the social reality, as the only social reality.
If it matters at all just who owns and controls the definitions of what social reality may or may not be, that is, if you want authenticity in your life — necessitating that no one mediate between you as the subject of your life and you as the object of your life — then you cannot treat others as you would treat yourself.

Reich embodied a whole greater than the sum of all the fragmented parts of his life. That is how we each are, and that is how best we are together, or socially. His body, his body of work, his views, his essence, his being, his becoming... are a totality, or they are a falsified partition.
Reich in Germany, Reich in Massachusetts, Reich in a U.S. federal prison.. are one.
His life & his work, the wisdom derived from them, the suppression of them... ought be treated as one, else, falsification of him and all that he was results. In short, by partitioning up life into exchange-valu[e]able "parts", you demean his life, your own, and that of all humanity – past, present, and future.
When you deals in parts and fragments of social reality and human lives, you deal in the world of capital social relations, wherein all that is lived becomes a carrot-stick whose attainment becomes squirrel cage eternity based in the fictitious and always-devaluated promissory notes. Being and becoming yourself at one with the human and universal dynamo — is put on hold, is frozen — is partialized away from a subjectivity-driven ascent towards the center of a dynamic state of unitary space-time. Rather, we are compartmentalized into a living hell where the subject dominated and homogenized fragments that can be vaulted and used for parasitic purposes by those (or that) pursuing an enslavement of life and an end to its life's fractal totalities, negentropic (self-expansive) algorithms (as in oscillations and rhythms), and resource of energies.

The summed-together authoritarian backlash manufactured "craziness", the critiques of authoritarianism, the legal attacks by the left+right+center authoritarians, the research into the existence of submission, the book burnings, the discoveries of character-armor, mass psychology, OR/DOR, et. al.....
Unless you suggest that we treat our own lives in like fashion — wherein my right hand's index finger is only attached to my left foot via ideological falsification — as fragments that have no totalizing greater reality, then you distort reality and falsify it, which is precisely what the practicing of mass psychology is.
Our totalized lives are not a part of the solution; they are the solution.
